In art, the children explore the lines, shapes, forms and textures of a variety of different flowers and their petals. We completed a carousel of tasks where we used Playdoh to create roses by layering the thin petals over the top of each other and to make imprints of flowers to see the textures they left behind. We also drew round flower stencils, cut them out and drew round them onto a polystyrene tile to make a print of the lines using paint.
