Fire Safety

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Year 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

What an exciting time! This afternoon our local fire service came to talk to us about fire safety. We have learnt about good fires and bad fires, the causes of fires and the effects of fires. Also how to 'Stop, Drop and Roll.' We have also learnt what to do in an emergency - call 999 and the importance of trying to get out of the building but if we cannot what to do. We then acted out a scene,  a family in a cafe when a fire starts due to the chef. Thank you Lancashire Fire Service for your very informative talk.
