Investigating water

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 4 Year: 2022 - 2023

We have investigated water. We have observed it in all states of matter: sold - ice, liquid - water and gas - evaporation. We measured, using a themometer, the freezing point of ice at 0 degrees then began melting the ice, measuring it's melting point at 0 degrees. From there we observed it became liquid and at 100 degrees started to evaporate. We then watched Mrs Sanderson catch the water on a plastic lid and it started to condensate making it liquid again.
