Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

This half term we have been learning to sing teh lyrics of the song 'Three Little Birds.' We have quite liked the song evening though it is slower and calming. 

Today we listeened and appriased 'Lamb Goat Liver' by Pluto Shevrington. Our initial reaction to this song was that we wouldn't like it! However we were pleasently surprised when we heard the song. One of us said its like you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover - don't judge a song by it's name, which was very true! We then warmed up our musical minds - singing, clapping and playing simple rhythms. After this we practiced playing our glockenspiles in time to our song, again playing a simple rhythm. Finally we composed our own rhythm. We decided we had made it a little complicated and next time we would keep it simple by repeating notes more often.
