Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

We had a wonderful week during British Science Week. Can you believe we made seisometers, learned how pigs are linked to jet engines, had a visit from an engineer, researched Thomas Edison and discussed stereotypes about scientists!!

The children enjoyed linking their topic work about earthquakes with the science of seismology and making a seisometer.

We were inspired by the science behind a jet plane, explained by our parent visitor.

Thomas Edison was inspirational, overcoming difficulties to invent over 1,000 items.

Just brilliant.
